My aunt Murial gave up the life of a talented artist to serve as a nurse and had a love and compassion for babies and newborns. She served for over 40 years in the profession before succumbing to advanced disease. She was one of the most elegant people I knew. I loved setting the table with her for Hanukkah and putting out all the trim and lace. This small piece reminds me of her and the beauty she represented.
