This vintage inspired lantern is a kerosene/oil lamp that lasts many dozens of hours on a small amount of fuel. It throws beautiful light and is beyond easy to use. No soot or figuring anything out. Just light it and turn the knob to the perfect height. Easy to refill. Buy kerosene at Walmart or your local hardware store. These come beautifully gift wrapped.
We recently had our main power pole to our farm fall over and we were almost a week without power or running generators etc in mid march frozen temps. You may have it beight outside but still need additional light inside. These were easy to use by my children and could easily be moved from room to room. They cast a beautiful pattern with lots of light.
