Back when I would just dream about the life I have now, I had lots of doodle time. Especially in church. No littles on my lap, vying for my attention and snuggles. I had crisp firm and silken paper with wonderfully deep black or colored pens that no one touched but me. I was a good artist, and often made lines and dots into beautiful mandalas on cards I would then give to people. This candle remind me of those times. The simplicity of lines and dots to bring together a beautiful piece. That time was long ago and now my hands are filled with something much more beautiful. Duplications of my own hands, just smaller.
